Analyzing Your Feedback
GuideLabs was created to support you getting more frequent feedback and be able to measure your progress over time. While we help measure and analyze your feedback, nothing is more valuable than personal reflection on the feedback you are receiving and what is contributing to you meeting your goals over time.
Here are a few areas where we help you with your analysis:
The Measure Screen
The Measure Screen gives you an overview of your progress against your focus areas and your brand. It also shows you your most recent feedback. At a high level, you can see how each focus area and how often you are receiving feedback that you are either meeting or exceeding demonstration of the focus area.

Measuring Progress in Your Focus Areas
Within each focus area, the large percentage represents the percentage of feedback you received indicating you are meeting or exceeding the behavior you selected for that focus area. The small arrow and percentage next to it represents the change in the overall percentage over the past week. Are you trending up, are you trending down or staying the same?
The tag of Strength, Opportunity and Challenge is based on your overall percentage for that focus area. If you receive feedback over 75% of the time that you are meeting or exceeding expectations then the focus area is marked as a strength. If it is between 51% and 75%, then it is an opportunity. At 50% or below, it is a challenge.
On the left hand side of Your Focus Areas, you will see the total number of people that gave you feedback, total feedback submissions and total behaviors that contain feedback.

Measuring Your Progress on Your Brand
You can view Your Brand and how often you are showing up on brand at the bottom right corner of the measure screen. The percentages to the right of each brand attribute indicates an average of the frequency your feedback providers said you are showing up with that particular brand attribute. The color of the bar next to each attribute represents ths same colors from the focus areas: Green is a strength, Purple is an opportunity and Orange is a challenge. The arrows next to the attribute shows how you are trending over the last week.

How do you consider "Missing", "Meeting" and "Exceeding" in your feedback?
Often people believe that if they are not exceeding expectations they are not performing. Consider reframing your mindset around meeting and exceeding expectations. Meeting is a good thing. That is what we want. Of course exceeding in a few areas means you are leveraging your strengths. If you are exceeding on everything, then you may not stretching and growing yourself. Watch out for this as you analyze your feedback. Are you exceeding all focus areas? If so, consider swapping one out that will stretch you.
