Requesting Feedback
Within the GuideLabs tool, you are able to request feedback from anyone you wish by sharing a link that is specific to you and the areas in which you are requesting feedback.
Why is feedback important? Feedback is an essential part of growth. It helps you stay focused on your development goals and provides you with the guidance you need to progress toward them. By embracing feedback from others, you can better understand what you're doing (behaviors and habits), how you're showing up (your brand), and the impact that it has on both the work and the people you work with (your environment).
What should you do with the feedback? Feedback is a gift. It is something to reflect on and consider how it can influence your growth and development. Because we believe in transparent feedback, it allows you to have a meaningful and actionable dialogue. This can help you understand further the context around the feedback provided.
How do you request feedback in GuideLabs?
STEP 1: Navigate to the Measure screen and select the Get Feedback button under Your Stakeholders.

STEP 2: Choose the areas for feedback:
Your 3 focus areas
Your brand
Select from the complete list of behaviors

Note: You may select one or more areas for feedback

When selected from the Behavior List, you can use the checkboxes to choose the specific behaviors for which you want feedback.

STEP 3: Click Copy Link to copy the feedback request link to your clipboard.
STEP 4: Paste & share the link with the person you want to provide feedback provider via email or platforms like Slack, Teams, etc.
When you share the link, be sure to give some context around why you are requesting their feedback. Here are some suggestions around messaging:
I am looking for feedback from the people I work with to fine-tune my growth and development goals. Your perspective matters to me. Would you be willing to give me some feedback? All you need to do is use this link, enter your email address and name and answer a few questions.
Since we recently worked closely on [INSERT PROJECT], I would value your perspective on how I am meeting my development goals and how I am showing up consistent with my aspirational brand. Would you mind answering a few questions? Specific feedback and examples are very helpful as I continue to seek opportunities to grow.
