Common Content Uses
GuideLabs gives you access to different types of content which you can use to learn and develop new behaviors or reinforce existing behaviors. Here are the different types of content you will find in your GuideLabs experience:
Concept
A concept is a key principle aimed at shifting a behavior and/or mindset. Its purpose is to help you adopt new approaches or perspectives that can enhance your effectiveness and build new habits in the main topic of a playlist.
Tool
A tool is a specific technique that you can use to apply what you are learning. These tools are related to concepts in the playlist. Tools are meant to provide practical application of a content that will reinforce a behavior that you want to adopt or strengthen.
Reflection Card
A reflection card provides a series of questions that will take you through a reflection connected to a concept in the playlist. It is through reflection that we deepen our understanding of a concept and its relevancy to our work. Reflection Cards provide an additional technique for apply what you are learning to your work and move that work forward after completing the reflection with greater impact.
Edit
Edits are simple changes you can start making today to build better habits over time. Edits provide a simple, repeatable, and personal way for you to evolve how you approach different interactions or situations to get the best outcome possible. Our structure for an edit is intentional: When [a situation/event/reality occurs] I am going to [take the action aligned with a new behavior] so that [I have my desired result].
Quick Reference
A quick reference provides further information related to concepts within a playlist. It could be a case study or a way to apply concepts to different situations.
